What is Jomboy Media?

Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien founded Jomboy Media in 2017 with his best friend Jake Storiale to create original sports content that explains and celebrates the moments that fans live for. Now a creator-led sports media empire, we are home to some of the world’s highly rated channels—from Jimmy’s viral “Breakdown” video series to Talkin’ Baseball to We Got Ice to the Warehouse Games—and we boast a roster that includes former MLB players, the world’s most hype Yankees fan, a dude named Jolly Olive, big-time TV broadcast veterans, and more.

From day one, we’ve been committed to our supporters, and we’ve tried to balance running a business with staying true to our mission. With Substack, we are building a place where we can post content that isn’t tuned for an algorithm or an advertising partner but is instead exactly what we want to make for the community we love.

Free subscribers will be notified whenever we post new content, in your inbox and in the Substack app, and will have a single site to view the entire breadth of Jomboy Media’s content. With a paid subscription, you’ll be able to post comments on our content, as well as participate in live chats with our team of creators, without dealing with trolls or Reply Guys. You’ll also get exclusive access to content that we can’t post on YouTube, as well as a permanent discount in our merch store.
