I brought the good vibes to Citi Field on Wednesday night. I’m not saying that I was directly responsible for the Yanks’ victory, but I’m also not not saying it. Maybe I was a little indirectly responsible.

Who knows?

Either way. You’re welcome. Credit to me for brining the mojo.

All in all though, it was a beautiful night for some baseball. Besides taking the local 7 line from Manhattan to Queens, instead of the express line.

Besides giving up a leadoff, first pitch homer, are we allowed to say the Cy Young Domingo is back?
Well, Domingo German has physically returned.

Is he back in the Cy Young race? Hm, probably not – but, I’m going to control the narrative and say that he is.

6 IP, 5 hits, 1 ER, 0 walks, 6 Ks.

GREAT game in his return from the IL. All jokes aside, our starting pitching has been”difficult.” That’s putting it mildly and nicely…

Getting this performance from Domingo was a welcomed site that the starting rotation needed. Attaboy, Mingo.

As for the offense, we still like scoring runs and hitting yabos. Nothing has changed in that regard.

In the first, after a leadoff double by DJ The Machine, “What a Guy, What a Guy” himself ripped a RBI double. Judgey eventually came around to score on a RBI single by Gley Baby.

It wasn’t until the 6th where we tacked some insurance runs onto the board, but back-to-back solo shots is always fantastic. Always.

First – Didi.

He’s a knight, did you know that?

Then – Gio

He’s a god and a happy fella, did you know that?

Gleyber eventually added another RBI single, in the 7th, to extend our lead to 4 runs. As for the pen, Chaddy “Is it the Chad” Green took care of the 7th and 8th innings, while Nestor Cortes “Not Ken Griffey” Jr was given the 9th.

It was probably a bit of a culture shock for these boys, pitching at the end of the game as opposed to the beginning. But, hey – we’ll take it.

Oh…and one last thing. Gio Urshela is a fuckin’ wizard in the field.

Boom. Case closed.

5-1 dub.
