The Arizona Diamondbacks lost a game earlier this week in a way I’ve never seen a team lose before: five straight walks for the walk-off. As if the Dodgers needed any more help getting wins.

D-Backs closer Greg Holland started off well enough. He got two quick outs but after walking the next dude the wheels completely fell off and manager Torey Lovullo left him in too long. Eventually he walked in the winning run and they brought in a new guy to face Cody Bellinger, of all people, and the new guy walked him too. I feel bad for the new guy because I think people will remember that play before they remember Holland blowing up. As far as I’ve been able to tell, Holland has been pretty nails all season so, for his sake, I’m hoping/guessing this’ll be a blip on the radar.
